Project Manager – Renewable Energy

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager (or Project Officer looking to advance) to facilitate and manage the next phase of our key renewable energy project, the Aurora Energy Project.

This is a hands-on and rewarding opportunity to deliver on the existing plans for a unique, large scale, energy storage project in Port Augusta, South Australia, 300kms north of Adelaide.

Reporting to the COO / Project Director, the role requires:

  • – Demonstrable track record in the successful, hands-on project management of Renewable Energy / Energy Storage projects in Australia
  • – Excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to engage effectively with consultants, contractors, regulatory organisations and stakeholders to achieve set outcomes
  • – Excellent financial acumen and proven experience managing procurement, contracts and cost control to a budget
  • – Ability to execute project plans with a strong focus on delivering outcomes on schedule

 

In addition, you will be highly professional with a “can-do” attitude, able to drive and facilitate mutually beneficial relationships both Industry and Government bodies to delivery approvals, network connections, GPS study, hardware supply, procurement and construction (EPC).

A diplomatic team player with excellent written and verbal communication, confident negotiation skills, and a solutions-based approach to problem solving.

Initially this role will be Adelaide Metro based, however as the project develops, will require regional travel to Port Augusta, 300kms north of Adelaide.

Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering is advantageous however not essential.
