“Storage is the answer and the key to all our problems”. This comes from Minister Koutsantonis at his announcement of over 60 applications to the Renewable Technology Fund. We were pleased to join him today at the press conference for this announcement, where we announced our own three proposals for the Fund.

We welcome the news that the Renewable Technology Fund has attracted so many proposals from across the globe and look forward to playing a key part in delivering technology that meets the needs of our home state.

Assuming we are successful in our submissions to the Government, the Renewable Technology Fund will greatly assist at a key moment in 1414 Degrees’ development of energy storage devices to support electricity grid stability and reduce energy costs for consumers.

Our solution has been developed and proven in South Australia. The global response to its applications has been very exciting and it is clear there is a worldwide demand for 1414 Degrees’ technology. Keeping this technology in South Australia will create hundreds of jobs for the state, with the prospect of growth for many years to come.
