On Friday night (30th November) 1414 Degrees received a Commendation in Steven Marshall’s South Australian Premier’s Awards in Energy and Mining, for the Energy Sector – Excellence in Innovation: Transformational Innovation. The Premier’s Awards in Energy and Mining recognise excellence demonstrated by leading resources and energy sector companies and organisations in the areas of diversity, working with communities, and innovation.

We are pleased to advise that 1414 Degrees has appointed Dr Jordan Parham as Chief Operating Officer to lead the next phase in the Company’s development.
Dr Parham will commence with the Company on 14 January 2019 from his current role as CEO of FCT Combustion’s Asia-Pacific Business Unit.
Dr Parham holds qualifications, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Diploma in Project Management, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the University of Melbourne Business School.

The global renewables sector has largely directed its efforts toward development of new technologies to support the generation and storage of electricity. However, it is the use of heat energy, not electrical energy that dominates global energy requirements.
Supporting this need, one of the greatest assets of our TESS (Thermal Energy Storage System) is its heat output. Industry and utilities are reaching out to us due to our innovative approach to heat energy. By harnessing the stored energy directly to recover heat, we are able to offer a ‘product’ to heat users, including operators of heat networks across the globe.

1414 Degrees Limited (ASX:14D) is pleased to announce that attending a recent conference in the United States has led to increased interest from global markets.
Our origins are in Australia a decade ago and our technology has long term, global relevance as renewable energy expands. Several weeks ago, at the suggestion of a North American utility, 1414 Degrees was invited to the Electrification 2018 Conference that attracted representatives from 90 per cent of the power utilities in the US.
